When's the big draw?

Granted, the winners last season, Chelsea aren't in it until the 3rd round.

Does anyone know how bad Dominic Samuel's knee injury is?

It seems like Coventry City are still keen to have him back, permanently instead of on loan, perhaps. I think it would be a shame to lose him, either through a sale to another club or to a long-term injury.

Doubt they will know for a couple of days. Fingers crossed that the immediate expert diagnosis on Radio Berks of an ACL is on a par with their football comments.

Pepe the Horseman Read on twitter that Clarke was turning away in disgust every time Cox lost the ball. Don't think he likes him much...

Watts said Norwood was MoM by a mile.

Is it just me or has Cox got a little porkier over the summer?

BF pretty much nailed it in the OP.

Norwood the new James Harper, although a great ball for the goal.

Blackman's (and Williams's) first touch really poor.

Tish looked quality in his short appearance. Foot on the ball, looked up and picked a pass.

Had a ticket for the game but due to work commitments couldn't go :-(

Listened to 5Live all the way up from Colchester to Stoke last night (Jeez - EVERY major road in England seemed closed last night!!!) and the only time they only mentioned us was to say that it was 0-0, it was in extra time and that Gunter had scored!

We said the same thing, but about Quinn.

Colchester were terrible, never looked like scoring (apart from when Al Habsi dropped a routine cross), it was just a matter of time before we scored. I think Williams oozed class even out of position, McShane never looked like being beaten and I even thought Blackman looked good, minus the finish.

Andrew Taylor also had a mare, I can see what the Wigan fans meant now. Let's hope he doesn't get used too much this season.

p.s. How shit is Orlando Sa?! oxf*rd!

I just watched the highlights, and what a superb pass from Norwood. It was also a good bit of composure from Gunter, and he showed his athleticism by bursting forward so late in extra time.

You just described the entirety of what Channel 5 showed of our match and managed to make it last longer. Made our 30 seconds of the FLS look like extended highlights.

Big Foot Dire, dire game with very little quality or tempo on display

Blackman missed a pure sitter in the first 5 minutes, had that gone in then I think we'd have won at a canter

New wingers needed immediately, not even having Gemma off TOWIE on the wing would've given us enough width

Williams not a winger at all, if Clarke persists with playing him out of position then I have a hunch Williams will throw a wobbly by Xmas and be gone in January

Cox and Samuel seemed to link up well when they came on

Ferdinand & McShane class together at the back. Taylor steady, reminded me of Stretch

Gunter = banter. Played like a prick most of the game then pops up with the winner

Al-Habsi very shaky, dropped a seemingly easy cross and bailed out by McShane

Norwood the crab

Quinn - hundred dragbacks too many onto his left peg but otherwise steady

HRK & Blackman - ineffective and about as sharp as Jade Goody's intellect

Overall, thank phuck there was a goal to save an even layer finish

AIDS traffic on M25 there and back, this country!!

Man of the match - McShane

This is almost exactly what I was going to write! Spot on Bigfoot, will be watching out for your regular reviews from now on!!

Fcuking propaganda.

Ta. Christ that's bad. Good job McShane happened to be facing that way.

Cracking run by Gunter for the goal btw. Especially considering how long we'd been playing at that point.
