Gunny Fishcake
bobby1413 I wonder why some of the people on this thread (OP especially) - and in fact on this forum - go to games. I've never seen so much negativity and cynicism in my life

Do us all a favour and just don't go.

You're like moaning toddlers ...

"I don't like that woman saying something"
"Why are there trumpets"
"There was an advert on the big TV"
"The tannoy guy was annoying"
"That song was poo poo"
"There's a family zone"

Boo fcking hoo. Get over it. There was a game on you know. Maybe you just need to relax and enjoy the afternoon out.

People who go are entitled to their opinion.....who are you to tell people to what to say the bloody Dalai Lama

My first thoughts reviewing that performance are:

We are harder to beat than we were last season.

Defensively we were solid and Leeds hardly threaten.

There's a worrying lack of pace in midfield, especially on the wings and up front.

Generally an ok performance but a poor result imo.

Lacoste It's taking everything I have to give Clarke the benefit and wait until we have our wingers back before judging him. Realistically though, a decent manager would be getting some kind of tune out of this bunch. Just have to hope that when this Spaniard and our wingers are back things will start to improve.

I think Clarke got it all wrong tactically today, while the wingers are a miss, things could have been better.

I have no doubt that Clarke will fail here, he should have been gone end of last season but hey ho, he has until the middle of September with me.

Yeah definitely sounds like you're waiting to judge until September

First time I've seen Sa play properly, and I have to say I thought he looked class. Just a shame he had nothing by way of support.

McShane also excellent, and I thought taking Quinn off was a mistake as he looked the most likely to make something happen in midfield.

Dull game, and we need more going forward, but quite a few positives to take forward.

I really don't think this is a game to use a bench mark for our defensive prowess. Leeds literally did nothing.

MmmMonsterMunch Left early as couldn't take the boredom. The whole 'experience' was just fcuking dreadful. Flame throwers at the start with Thai people kicking balls into the crowd.

The song was an utter shambles as was the attempt by Sassima to give a rousing speech pre kick-off & the Leeds fans just sang all the way through.

She still tried to persevere with the speech.....it dragged on for so long the Leeds fans then started booing. Didn't hear a thing she said.

They played the dreadful song again at HT. And we also got treated to a new Thai Airways ad with a strapline "smooth as silk". Oh the irony as the football certainly wasn't.

Left early & walked past the Royals Family Area. At this point I started to slit my wrists.

WTF has happened to this club?!

CBA to give ratings. It was a shit game between two sh1t sides that will be nowhere near promotion.

After the sh1t game I came to my sh1t home, take my sh1t dinner with my sh1t family. Everything is sh1t including my sh1t life. My name is Sh1t Sh1tson.

Defence solid - made Leeds's attacking threat look rubbish.

Midfield - we lacked width at times but still controlled the majority of the game

Sa - shows more and more ever game and can see him scoring 15+ this season.

I'd rather draw 0-0 than lose 3-2, draw 3-3 etc...

We are going to be hard to beat this season, as soon as we sort our attack out we will be challenging.

Announcer needs to oxf*rd off as well.

Oh and how the hell was that not a red card????

P!ssed Off
SCIAG why not have Kuhl on the bench?

Let's just say that there's resentment, but it isn't (primarily) between Aaron Kuhl and the club.

He's out of favour for reasons that are completely out of his control.

Go on...

The above is a quote from SCIAG, not 24 hours ago, when he was pretending to be ITK.

Eh? You'd rather see a nil nil bore draw than a 6 goal thriller? Madness!!!

Not only that, technically 3-3 is a better result than 0-0 because of the goals for.

Madness indeed.

Chuckle. That and when we've got three CMs on the pitch, we probs don't need two on the bench.

We did today! If Quinn and Williams are our sub wingers then we're gonna end up putting Hector in there.

Horrifically dull affair, coupled with the embarrassment the club has become, means I'll unlikely be taking in any home games anytime soon.

Game - woeful (again)
Performance - terrible
Song - didn't even realise it happened
Speech - embarrassing
Atmosphere - thought we were loud, but very inconsistent
McShane - looks brilliant
Sa - decent, but can't finish
Band - die

P!ssed Off We just want your money, so spend some or oxf*rd off.

Go and support a premier club then. Or stay at home and play Championship manager. I wonder why people bother going to football these days.
