Unbelievable Jeff What's the chances of getting a fine if I was to park in the Mcdonalds/B&Q area opposite the stadium?

Pretty high.

Winchester Royal Probably slim if you bought a few bags of sand, some power tools and a new kitchen. Or a Big Mac.

Kitchen is looking a bit tired tbh so I guess that's two birds with one stone!

Chances of it being endorsed, pretty slim.

Unless it's a council car park

Winchester Royal Any value to parking somewhere like Porchester or Havant and getting the train in for the last bit?

Not really. If you were to do something like that, your best bet would be to park in Cosham, which is a bit closer to Portsmouth. Mr. Cynical has outlined some good parking options near the ground.

Thanks, I'll be leaving Wokingham at about 5pm so hoping that will be sufficient to get down in time.

5 should be reasonable, though I would be a tad cautious, Winch.

There is always traffic on the M27, especially around Fareham and the Southampton Airport turning. Always seems to attract its fair percentage of accidents at that time of the day, so I would allow as much time as possible. I'll be doing the daily commute back from Gosport this evening; I'll time it to give you a good indication of what it should take - with or without traffic.

Another tip - get off on the M275 and take the Fratton/North End junction. That will cut you right down towards the stadium and save you the inevitable queues from coming off Eastern Road, where you will definitely hit heavy football traffic. You may need a sat-nav for that, though.

I'm going to Leave Bracknell around 3pm and find a place where you pay to park that appears secure and safe

Sold out initial allocation....around 300 more available.

Not sure how you'd get your hands on them though, maybe if you're at the game tomorrow.

Good effort by us.

Hopefully we turn up and create a good atmosphere as well.

As long as we drown out that sodding bell, that's all I care about.

Sold out the allocation but ample supply for Reading fans to pay on the night apparently.

Apparently, although admittedly my pay on the night comment may have confused you, apologies for that.
