we're already 7 points behind the league leaders if we draw this.

I'm not so bothered about that. We've clawed back more, before.

What I'm interested in is progress on the pitch, a sense that we're improving.

At least the thread made two pages, it was touch and go there for a while.

Why is Stacey on the bench if Clarke is going to put on an on loan midfielder who doesn't score goals instead?

Didn't even bother going today. Sounds like I missed yet another Madejski stadium home classic

Painful.

1 win in 14 league games.
Clarke's league win ratio now 21%
Still playing without any wide players despite there being several fit. Surely it's worth at least trying Stacey / Fosu / Obita on the wing to offer us that width we're lacking. If one or two of those three plus Hurtado don't get tested against Pompey, it's madness in my eyes.

Repeating the same shape again and again and expecting a different result in goals scored is the definition of insanity.

The real positive of course is that we're reasonably solid in the first two thirds (although haven't been tested by a particularly good attack yet) and we've got players to slot in for the attacking positions. But they need to come in soon and in the right shape.

Beeb reckons that's another 20 shots, with 7 on target.

This is woeful.

Reckon we should just copy and paste the comments from the Leeds thread and leave it at that.

Our next 3 home games are Ipswich, Derby, and Boro.

If we can't score against Leeds and MK Dons we are oxf*rd.

HRK jeered when he came off. Hope Clarke gets the hint.

I still believe Clarke has us playing much better than Adkins ever did, but what's the point when we couldnt score in a oxf*rd brothel??? We are begging for a finisher.
