Platypuss Norwood a defensive midfielder? He couldn't tackle his way out of a wet paper bag.
If any of them are, it's Quinn who's more your archetypal watercarrier CMD.

Norwood had the most successful tackles of any player in the league when Clarke came in.

He lost the absolute record whilst he was out the team, but was still in the top three for tackles-per-match. He's been the deepest lying midfielder in his appearances this season.

Tony Le Mesmer Failed to score in 13 or last 17 home games, or whatever it is? There isn't a club in the land who wouldn't be met with boos for that, I'd say its pretty justified.

Pathetic? Booing never say die championship winning players who gave their all, and a manager who brought more success bar one to the club. That's pathetic.

We've been going backwards since then and still are.

A pretty bad time for the clubs fans at the moment, but lets face it, its totally deserved.

To be fair, our resident pricks are showing signs of improvement.

In the past, the same morons have elected to boo the team off at half time for failing to secure a lead at the break :|

So, credit where credit is due, well done to our sh*t-for-brains contingent for exercising some self control at half time and consoling themselves with the tried and tested to destruction w@nk fest whilst dreaming about stabbing Swindon fans.

What would the club do without your unparallelled support?

I'd suggest that with 7,000 empty seats on Saturday the club would be close to folding without their support

Losing a few hundred idiots is no loss to most clubs and we are no different.

I think Kingsley should walk round with the Tshirt Blaster thing loaded up with pool balls. Anybody seen booing should immediately taken out with a pool ball between the eyes.

No, just a differing opinion using words of more than one syllable.

Come to think of it, I guess this amounts to the same thing on Hobnob.

Enjoy the rest of the day, morons.

Caversham Royal Only two unbeaten home games into the season & we already have fans pointlessly booing the team. Must be some sort of record surely......

Ho, Ho. :) Still a pointless thread though.......

In the grand scheme of things, aren't all threads pointless?

This^^^^^^^

I've seen Norwood put in plenty of decent tackles (I was surprised to be fair), but other than that, spot on. He's a play maker, not a spoiler.

I don't think we have a defensive midfielder. We have all rounders / box to boxers, but not hardcore defensive midfielders and no hardcore attacking midfielders.
