[Vienna are 1-0 down going into tonight’s second leg against the Ukrainian side, but should they pull off a shock turnaround and qualify for the group stages of Europe’s elite competition, Krammer says Beric will not be sold.

“Then Robert must understand that there can be no release,” he said.

  [/quote]

In that case if Robert want to play for Reading he must understand that he should not score tonight

I haven't been this excited since the last time we bid loads of money and signed him, back on page 10.

I just can't see us paying this much for one player, not when the manager told fans at the weekend we didn't have much to play with

his recent quotes have seen him say that we aren't able to spend 7-8-9-12 million- ala Rhodes etc
and that is what it takes to buy a proven championship goalscorer.
and that we would have to be creative and look elsewhere, and pay less.

that is what this is

Spending circa 1.25 mil on (is it 9) new players in this window + 4 mil on Beric gives us a total spend of 5.25 on 10 players. Still the Reading.

bit mental that the Thais seem willing to spunk 5 million + in transfers, as well as losing upwards of 5 million (yearly financial hole in budget)

mad old biddies will do anything I guess

Considering a lot of Prem teams are now posting profits because of the new TV deal, perhaps getting their ASAP is part of their goals.

Sell HRK and recoup most if not all the money straight away.

Done deal if Rapid don't win tonight.

French media are reporting Beric has agreed terms with ASSE, and will be allowed to leave if rapid Vienna are knocked out of champions league.

I don't think any media anywhere in Europe has any fcuking clue what's going on with Beric to be honest.

It has always been so. Facts and truth are not of crucial interest to today's media. Having us watch/read them is what feeds them.

Sadly I don't think Beric will have much enthusiasm for joining a club sitting at 19th in the Champiopnship.

Let's hope we can pay significantly more than St Etienne have offered and we're not too late then!
