Clarke doesn't believe in playing a "second team" for cup games does he?

Great to see McCleary back.

Strange that Quinn/Norwood/Williams and Obita feature. Been a hell of a lot of games recently. Thought it would be a good chance to rest them tonight with Tish, Fernandez and Taylor playing especially with a fresh Brentford to come on Saturday.

Blackman, HRK and cox going forward, oh LOL

Clarke hopes he will be injured. More game time - more chances

Hard to judge whether that's a 4-4-2, 4-4-3 or 4-5-1 really.

Surprised to see no Taylor, Ferdinand instead of McShane and Fernandez not starting tbh. Good to see GMac back, hope he can get a bit of a run out at some stage if the game warrants it.

More like a big "Hey Big Hec, look how valued you are here, even though you haven't started the last few games. We're just trying to protect you after a long summer. Please don't leave. We have big plans for you."
