He's deleted his tweet I see. Haha, #readingfc officials probably banging his door down in the hotel after what's happened with Chalobah.

Deal not yet done finalised for Piazon, but medical, etc all completed. Confirmation may not come until tomorrow. #readingfc

Reckon the club made him take his picture down as they had not announced it yet as it has gone.

Bit pathetic really if it's a done deal what harm does it do. He seemed genuinely pleased to have joined too.

Hopefully it's just Charles trying to cover his ass.

Quality signing! Very exciting. Now we just need a striker!

Can someone explain why I should be excited? Genuine question, I know nothing of him.

Had an excellent season 2 seasons ago for Vittese scoring plenty of goals and getting plenty of assists. Went to the bundesliga last season and didn't do much, was a bit out of his depth. Should be great in the championship

When Chelsea plucked him out of Brazil a few years ago he was labelled the next Kaka. He's not good enough for Chelsea yet but has had a couple of productive loan moves in Holland & Germany. You can see his best bits on YouTube. Potentially a brilliant signing.

Brazilian Youth International forward on Chelsea's books who had a good scoring record on loan i the Austrian top flight, if not elsewhere on his travels.

Describes himself as direct rather than a tricky dribbler and moves the ball quickly.

Has been compared to Kaka (he rejects that).

Would play off Sa or on the left most probably.

Ok, how are we pronouncing Piazon?

Is it Pie-a-zon or Pee-ay-zone or something else altogether?

So he played on loan in the Netherlands, Austria and Germany, they were productive times yet also may not have been, and he may be like Kaka and he may not be.

I am starting to think none of you have actually ever seen him play.

He's played in the Netherlands, Germany, and Spain. He was shit for the latter two loans but the first one was relatively good by the standards of Chelsea players at Vitesse.

I'd compare him stylistically to Javier Pastore. The comparisons to Kaka are just because they look similar from a distance.
