It's pretty obvious that Brighton have a 10 year plan. That plan is to copy what we were doing 10 years ago and they've just realised how big a task that is this season.

True - it's a great start for them and probably out-of-the-blue, although I doubt they would ever admit to that.

I find their sense of self-worth and superiority utterly baffling and amusing in equal measure. It has no basis whatsoever. I only dip into opposition boards after we've played them, and you come across some very unsavoury and delusional characters. I have no doubt that if there was a league for that, Brighton would win it every year (assuming West Ham don't get relegated anytime soon). It's a shame their team can't match their "achievement"

I did say in another thread that Brighton might just appear on my list of "rivals" - purely down to a personal distaste.

This is why.

One chap said that we were upstarts and to "go back to Elm Park". Are we upstarts? "a person who has risen suddenly in rank or importance, especially one who behaves arrogantly".
