In Thailand, stayed up until 4am but no regrets. Sensational!

Tshibola, Blackman, Vydra, Sa, Norwood were all top draw.

Buzzing, atmosphere was great, so was the game. Ipswich made a real go of it until it was 4-1 when they clearly gave up and it became a training match.

Pace in attack...it's been a while. Ipswich defense was clueless once the ball got behind their full-backs.

Early goal of the season contender from Norwood, but Blackman's was my favorite. The ball was pinging around, he gave it to Sa who fluffed it, tried again to Vydra who flew at it and missed, then almost reluctantly thumped it in as a sort of 'like that you dicks'.

I'm not going to bother with scores by player - especially since I'd probably go way overboard

Really like the look of Tshibola - he is some unit but with a decent level of skill

It's amazing the difference in Blackman a little confidence and the right man beside him is having!

Front three- great finishing by Sa, great pace and build up from Vydra, Blackman sealing his name on the teamsheet I'd have thought.

Midfield- Did we miss Williams at all? Tish had a great game. We now have so much strength in depth.

Defence- solid, although McShane got skinned a couple of times.

Bond- I don't think he could do much for their goal after a good save.

Only one game I know, but if we we can consistantly put in performances like this then anyone that finishes above us will truly deserve to go up.
All we need is to keep churning them out. Ipswich came to play. much to their credit. but alot of teams will shut up shop. thats when the real test will come.

Vydra is clearly class above the rest. He understandably wasn't quite in tune with everybody yet, but the well earned self indulgent over passing in the last half an hour will have helped.

He's right up there but MOTM has got to be Sa for the hat-trick or Norwood for everything else and that wonder goal.

Had some great spells but Quinn at other times looked just a tad headless chicken tonight.

McShane not at his best, but still got the job done.

IN the fifteen years I've been going I can't think of a better goal than Norwood's. Breathtaking.

In a remote corner of the Med, came back from family meal (had seen the half-time score) and raced to the iPad. Took a while to get live streaming working, then strapped the headphones on... just in time to see the third goal go in - perfect timing! What a performance, and what a result!

And so much strength in depth - our bench was awesome.

The passing between midfield and forward line was superb, and that's something that can only get better as the new boys bed in.

Blackman, yes that Blackman, looked like the man of the match - totally unplayable at times.

Wow.

That was alright to be fair

What happened to Blackman over the summer? Last season I'd have checked myself into a loony bin forsaking McCreary would struggle getting in ahead of Blackman...

Disagree with the headless chicken comment about Quinn. I thought he was excellent.

Our attacking play was so slick. The passing was crisp and pacy, the movement was great and it was really exciting to see flicks and tricks opening up space in and around the box.

This team has the potential to dominate opponents. One game does not a season make, but I think we all went into this game expecting a win, and that reflects an awareness that this is a team that is very capable of challenging for promotion.

Great night. Norwood and Blackman outstanding, Sa a hero already.

Black man was great
As was Tshibola who looks so comfortable in front of the back 4

Gunter and Bond looked shaky though
