Dave-Royal 1. reading played well
2. bond not fault for the goal.
3. sa let reading down after head butt
5. we could of won with 11 player no problem

Have to agree Dave although on past evidence point 2. still needs some work.

3points Not sure it was coincidental that as soon as Quinn was taken off and replaced by HRK, they poured through our left hand side leaving Ince basically unchallenged. I think Quinn would have been much closer.

^^ This

Thought Clarke screwed up tactically. Firstly by having us sit back and invite pressure from the second half kick off, and second by making that change. When the board went up we commented that Quinn was holding things together on the wing and HRK would weaken it without adding much going forward. Seemed an odd change

I do think that Dave's correct on points 1, 3 and 4, but I'm not convinced about Bond, I think he still has a lot to prove.

I cannot believe how lightly Sa was getting off with Dellor and co as they focussed on Bond. Not only did Sa head butt the guy but he thought about it for a couple of seconds and then did it. Just long enough for the ref to see his part in the dispute. The lino must have seen the first part but bottled it.. Sa will not last in this league if he is that kind of hot head. That was a two week's wages job/ And it completely changed the course of the game especially happening just before the break. I see many people say Clarke was too negative after half time but I am afraid that is his basic mentality but to be fair he has got the defence as well organised as I can remember. The changes he made were strange though. I would have put Danny on for Tshibola in the middle even though he was excellent as he had been booked and we could not go down to 9 and I would have left Vydra on longer as he looked in his element as a single forward and he had the speed to run on to a pass. Against a lesser team we would still have got something from the game even with ten men.

Agreed.

Williams on the right was a bad move as well, he simply doesn't know his defensive duties there. It says a lot when you start missing Blackman's defensive qualities there. I don't know what the correct answer was, but it wasn't what we saw after HT.

One of the things that really impressed me about Tish was that the early yellow didn't really change his game and he never looked in danger of a red. Williams is going to find it hard to get back into the side in that system... Quinn the most likely to lose out imo.

Not quite our day.

Very disappointed with Sa, he probably cost us 3 points.

We really missed Ferdinand, he's a class above Hector and McShane. Neither had a good game last night, too many missed tackles and wayward passes.

Tsh is becoming an excellent player. He has some issues with decision making, and he isn't quite as precise with his passing as Norwood, but I don't think he'll be dropped any time soon, he's just so good on the ball and always seems to be in the right place. Norwood is a class above. Williams' physicality is an asset but he doesn't have the footballing brain of our other midfielders.

I thought the subs were a bit strange. Bringing on Williams and McCleary for Tshibola and Vydra made sense, but we shouldn't have had Blackman as our only attacking player. It doesn't make sense to have four wingers on the bench, and then bring on a central midfielder to play on the wing. HRK on for Quinn was a gamble, this time it didn't pay off but it was our best chance of getting three points.
