Taylor, Cooper, Tishbola & Fernandez were all class today.

Thought Cooper and Taylor would get rinsed today, so fair play to 'em

I'm guessing you didn't see our keeper unable to save a tame free kick from 30 yards

Al Hasbi has always been part of a select group, which comprises of himself and Titus Bramble, of players that I've never understood how the oxf*rd they managed to ever get a professional contract.

I presume they are both some sort of statistical anomalies who fluked a Premier league contract and have since lived off the fact that at least one club each year will have a punt on them assuming that they can't be that bad. Al Habsi is.

Have to say Al Habsihad a shocker - his primary job is to save and he was found lacking tonight - shame because we more than matched some decent PL opposition - but think we need a better backup to 007 come the Jan window.

Think it's 15 shots on target this season and 9 goals conceded. That's absolutely fcuking appalling. For our opponents - have a shot on target you've got a 60% chance of scoring. SC needs to take his head out of the sand if he thinks these GKs are up to scratch.

I know exactly what you mean, but throughout his career I also had Anton Ferdinand in that category - yet this season he's been different class. Maybe Al Habsi just needs a bit of confidence?

Having watched tonight, I think we have the makings of a very good team - IF we can get a reliable keeper. At least Bond has time on his side.

What with all the wages we must be shelling out now, it makes it even harder to understand why we didn't try harder to keep Federici. Surely he was not on more than Bond and Al Habsi combined?

Anyway, once the outfield players gel a bit, we would appear to have stacks of goals in us, so what if we ship a few! Remember Jack Mansell's second half of 69/70 season!?! 6-3 wins are so much more exciting than 2-0's!! Having said that, some of the one touch stuff on view on Saturday and tonight - whilst not yet coming off - does slightly resemble 69-70. Or are my rose tinted specs of yesteryear addling my brain again?

Yeah, wasn't Everton 2 from 2 tonight? Not good.

Two from three, sort of - Al Habsi saved from Lukaku one on one iirc.
