Tempted as it's a new ground, however the distance and it being a Tuesday night isn't so attractive. I doubt we'll sell that allocation regardless of it's small size.

Tempted as I'm off that day and the Wednesday, plus I've not been to that ground before. I may see if there's any cheap places to stay up there and then travel back the next day

Haha, well yes as I consider £50 to be expensive!

But point taken... Maybe I could live like a king up there for the evening

IN, for once. New ground, local trip.

Might book ahead given the small allocation. Look at me collecting all the Royalty Points 8)

FWIW agree it's as good a way as any to use up annual leave. Just prepare for a few :| when asked
"Going anywhere nice, Steve_Upper_West?"
"Rotherham"
"Really? Well...I hear it has a rhythm and pulse all of its own :| "

Will you take 2 half days or just do 2 full ones?

Steve_Upper_West outstanding holiday

I'd probably wait to see what happens in the game before getting carried away, m8.

I would personally two 2 full days as you may be able to squeeze in a visit to Barnsley or Doncaster whilst up there. May as well see as much as you can.

Yeh or maybe break the journey on the way up in somewhere like Kettering or Corby.

An animal fan, Steve? You should try Yorkshire Wildlife Park, it's very good. If birds and minibeasts are more your thing then I'd suggest Potteric Carr Nature Reserve.

Or if you're more of an art lover then you'll have to take the M1 north for a bit to Yorkshire Sculpture Park or the Hepworth gallery in Wakefield, easy day trips from Doncaster.
