So Southampton had the same amount of decisions go against them as Chelsea. Therefore the score remains 3-1 to the small club from South coast and they take all three points.

genome Falcao was already going down anticipating the contact.
Mane reacted to his foot being stood on, and went down.

It's not that hard m9

But there would have been contact on Falcao. It's the intention not the contact

because there would have been contact doesn't mean there was intent.

you do know what intent means in this footballing scenario don't you?

Don't question me. Question the FA who make up the rules and then aren't consistent.

I bet you're glad I'm back so it gives you something to argue about for arguments sake.

Mr Optimist So Falcao incident was a penalty in your opinion, we are getting somewhere now. The Mane incident, penalty, yes or no? Booking, yes or no?

No penalty for me. He had his toe trod on - that wouldn't have made him go down like he'd been shot like a sniper.

Clearly should have been another booking for simulation.

Fair enough, that is your opinion, I disagree obviously, but that's your opinion. If the teams had been reversed and an opposition defender had stood on Falcao's foot and been nowhere near the ball in the box, would you have been shouting for a penalty? Similarly, if the incident was not involving Chelsea you would still say no penalty in that situation?

If you are trying to run after a ball in a game of football and someone stood on your foot, would it hinder your ability to run after the ball?

Surely FIFA own the laws of the game ?
And consistency is a rubbish arguement. Each incident should be judged on it's own merits. You can only be consistent if you are judging two identical things. I want correct decisions, not consistent ones. There is a difference.

But you have to be consistent to be fair. Anyone who retaliates such as Gabriel should be let off this season after the FA panel let him off.

Can you ask me these questions on one thread? It's hard to keep track when they're posted all over the place.

No. That makes no sense,
You could say anyone give a red card should be let off because someone else has been let off. Each incident is judged on it's own merits.
