Maguire
Ian Royal Likewise you can barely hear a peep out of the North East corner in the South East, it's pretty much just the drummer and the occasional bit of clapping

That's not a good use of "likewise". It sounds like you can hear everything that comes out of the NE corner.

 my mistake

Maguire Penalty was right in front of us and is best summed up as "soft". Minor contact but Blackman made the most of it.

Put a slightly generous slant on the scoreline but whatever, Reading deserved the three points against what is clearly a strong side.

No way was that a pen, the ref was very late in blowing, a homer played to the crowd.

He also chose to ignore Sarrs diving antics.

Lol that he was 'late' blowing. Yet another thing you seem to not really know anything about.

I think the linesman gave the penalty hence the delay. Ref gave him the thumbs up after the decision.

Maguire This is exactly right. If you're up the other end of the ground then you can barely hear anything from y25/y26. Genuinely hardly anything at all.

I have never heard the Blackman song at a Reading game but then again I haven't been to an away game since he actually started scoring goals.

Started at Brentford. Such a good day!

You can hear - I've frequently heard them get the ref's job description wrong and call him a banker.

I thought he was also looking intently to make sure there wasn't going to be an advantage. There's been a couple of incidents recently (in the Prem I think) where the ref has blown up for a freekick or pen a second or so before the ball is rifled into the net.
