That joke is probably better if someone else sets you up for it.

Time to rename this thread?

What are the odds on Evans being the next Championship manager sacked?

paultheroyal
glass half full Swinedon and Mark Cooper part company.

Gets better. Chairman has taken up the managers role

In fairness to the Swine, the Chairman is a former professional footballer with previous coaching experience. We're not talking Ron Noades Mk II.

stealthpapes I don't think any of the ones I know do. They all talk in the same *ifs* and *maybes* that you have used throughout, and the villa fans you've cited have also used.

could.

Thanks for confirming the views of the 3 or 4 Villa fans I know, I'll be sure to pass that on.

Pretty much every Villa fan I've ever heard comes out with stuff saying that they should be challenging etc etc, not that they could be given all the right conditions and management of the club.

Anyway, to save going round in circles on it, I'll go along with could for you.

Could, not should.

Charlton sack their manager, who I had never heard of until I just saw him announced as sacked.

Just looked at the Champ table. Of the 23 other teams I know the manager of 8 of them. That was 7 yesterday then I saw Dyche was still in charge of Burnley. I thought he left them in the summer.

bobby1413 Sherwood has left Villa

Bless.

From what I'd seen this season, they were good with the ball and going forward but really fragile and Sherwood didn't play Gil - that said, Gil and Grealish would be a very lightweight midfield.

I heard .. Was it Les Ferdinand at the beginning of the season. Is he the director of football? I was really swung by his comments as the start of the season.

He said ... QPR have thrown silly money at players. That's all go to stop. They're going back to basics and going to build slowly

It made me respect them more or at lest it will if they do this. I like their manager and his attitude. I hope they stick with him

At least until we've played them home and away.

Les Fedinand heard his old club were throwing money around like a drunken sailor and thought I'll have some of that.
