The Reading-Brighton rivalry just seems to be both sides claiming how indifferent they are about each other.

They're not really that good are they? Looking at their most recent 18 man match day squad, alright I don't watch them every week but no real stand out players there. We definitely have a more in depth squad with better individuals. For example, Vydra, Sa and Blackman are (or should be) miles better than Baldock, Hemed and Zamora...

Then again any average team that is a half decent unit with the right tactics, some team spirit and a resulting win streak can win this league, as we know from our last title winning campaign in 2011/12.

Got free tickets for their game against Hull at start of season which they won with an early goal and was a poor game.

The good news is that both Bong and Lua Lua are out who have formed an effective partnership on their left hand side - it looks like our old mate Rosenior is being drafted in at left back!

Stephens (best midfielder) and captain Greer are also doubtful and haven't trained this week.

Given their problems on the left I'd start with G-mac

They are very well organised and it will be a tight game - think we will sneak it 1-0

What would you do with Blackman then?

If it's play him up top, what would you do with Sa?

Or would you revert to a 4-4-2?

I know I predicted a 4-2 classic but only because that's what I want. Could just as easily be a 0-0 bore draw as they are set up defensively and well organised. I still think we will sneak a 1-0 or maybe a 2-1...

In terms of what I'd like, my first want is for a clean sheet
get the defence stats improving again.

We don't really know how good Brighton are, other than they are the best team in the world, but I think we really have to go for it, and the guys will be busting a gut for a solid win to nil.

Frankly this could be anything from 3-0 through to 0-3 but
I'm going/hoping for 2-0, Blackman and Sa,

27-29

Be leading 27-0 after 50 minutes then in 6 minutes let in 28 goals, and then on goal just before the end.

If, as everyone says, they are "well organised" (and that really is to damn with faint praise) that I suspect we'll struggle. We're generally better on the counter attack than we are patiently breaking teams down.

As long as there is no defensive aberration like at Fulham I'd expect some sort of ugly, frustrating, fractious draw with few goals.

As for their attitude to us, it's what you'd expect - mostly indifferent with a fair bit of irrational dislike. They are, as defined by sociologists, typical football fans.

I think it will be tight, we will not want to concede after last week, they will not want to lose 0-0 att 20,500
