Yes, this genuinely came from the fans and was not contrived by the marketing team and is not a copy of an American baseball team's effort, so absolutely no chance for the T&J theme then!

Personally I can't abide the idea of Sweet Caroline or the change from 'Biscuitmen' to shudder 'Royals' just yuk!

Didn't they change the nickname in the late 1970's? Stop the world I want to get off!

I'm not campaigning, but the thing about traditional is, well exactly that, it traditionally remains the same!

Well if the fans had not accepted the nickname change we could still be the biscuit men, too late to change it back now.

BTW I prefer biscuitmen, let's have a poll and see if anyone cares enough to start a campaign to reclaim....

Today was great. No sweet caroline before kickoffs, no stupid siren, no drugged up stadium announcer (apart from before the second half - players lined up to kick off and he starts reading a speech, ref gestures to him to shut the oxf*rd up, he continues, and ref just starts the game while he's still jacking off about 'roar like a lion' or whatever shit he's come up with this week, I digress...). Made for a better atmosphere.
