And if Snowball included it then his stats would just be reading across our row in the current Championship table, which wouldn't qualify as analysis so much as copying and pasting.

Stranded And would of course bring us down to 1.6 ppg and 73 or 74 points - which is close to the play-offs usually - probably about 7th - where, of course, we are now.

Cardiff game is looking pretty big now, a win and we could move back in the top 6 - draw and lose and we could lose more ground and drop to 9th. 4 games without a win is probably about as long a gap as you can comfortably accomodate with at least a play-off push in mind.

The omens aren't great tbh, when was the last time we've beaten them not including cup or play off?

Promotion season v1?!

If you are looking at league games then yes the 5-2 in April 2006 is the last win there. 3 draws and 2 defeats in that time. Of course we have won there in the play-offs and Cup. So a mixed bag really.

Ian Royal You've missed off Birmingham you retard.

Retard, these days is a very unpleasant word you ******

No.

The Birmingham game was hardly representative, and that wasn't my point.

My point was this, "Since we started on this run, our results were XYZ"

Looking ahead to the games in the remainder of this calendar year:

 9   07.11.2015   Cardiff City       away
22   21.11.2015   Bolton Wanderers   home
19   28.11.2015   Nottingham Forest   away
13   03.12.2015   Queens Park Rangers   home
16   12.12.2015   Preston North End   away
 1   16.12.2015   Hull City           away
15   20.12.2015   Blackburn Rovers   home
14   26.12.2015   Wolverhampton Wndrs   away
12   28.12.2015   Brentford           home
six of the nine fixtures (9, 12, 13, 14, 15 and 16) are against mid-table teams. We're away to top-of-the-table Hull, and face two bottom dwelling sides at the end of November. On current form, I can't see us getting more than 12 points from these nine games. I'd be happier with 16 points or more.

It wasn't that long ago that we were all optimistic about our promotion prospects  After a really good spell a month or two ago, how did Obita, McShane and Hector go off the boil so quickly that our defence now leaks goals so easily :?:

Hi JD

It's amazing that we are all apparently so "down".

Let's be exact.

We are 7th, one point outside the play-offs, 7 points of top spot, after/during a poor run
and after a wobbly start, throwing away points at Birmingham (a little unluckily), dropping
two points in the 94th minute at Wednesday, losing a key player versus Derby

I still believe that if Fulham hadn't immediately got a goal back when 0-2 down,
we'd've won easily, then beaten Brighton, and Huddersfield.

At the start of the season or after the transfer window closed, how many on this
list would have not been happy with 7th at the start of November?

For Bolton, Forest, QPR, Preston, Brentford we should be clear favourites.

We have very decent chances against Cardiff, Blackburn and Wolves.

There's only one of these 9 that we might EXPECT to lose, away to Hull

This nine-game stretch could see us mid-table, but I personally think we'll get
more than a 2 point-per-game average

The good news is we're on tv 3 times so that's at least 12 points in the bag.

Even better news if they've started giving us 4 points for a win.
