It's a valid point by Lux when you look at how much Arsenal have spent and their team isn't exactly sparse of seasoned International players, even those that come in for the first choice players. A one off 5-1 hammering at Bayern doesn't embarrass your Country. But that along side their 2 defeats against sides they should have beaten does.

Surely Arsenal are one of the main reasons they've got that 4th spot - considering they always qualify for the knockout stages?!
I'd quite like England to lose its 4th spot as it might may teams take the domestic cups more seriously and level the playing field fractionally more.

Pretty sure the likes of Palace, Leicester, Everton, Spurs etc would have got more than three (3) points in that Group so far.
Spurs have trouble beating pub teams in the Euro Vase or whatever it is called, let alone Champion League clubs.
All of the aforementioned clubs have been beaten by the Gooners this season.
Despite Arsenals injury crisis they will probably also beat spurs again at the weekend.

I would still expect Arsenal to qualify, can see Bayern winning their remaining games and Arsenal beating Zagreb, so they just need a two goal victory at Olympiakos
Whilst still possible, this involves a 2 goal win against a team they have already lost too, away. A team that they have lost to away on the last couple of visits and have also beaten Juve and Atletico Madrid there in the very recent future. They were expected to beat both these teams first time round, that went well.
