Warfield North Stand The 2 saves he made from consecutive corners in the 2nd half were brilliant. The others anyone ( bar our 2 probably) would save..

I thought the save from Norwood's free-kick was the pick of the lot. The two off the corners (Blackman and Williams) were straight at him.

Norwood's FK would have beaten many goalkeepers IMHO.

Having looked at replay, yes the Norwood free kick was a great safe. The one of Blackman on the breakaway was also good . Unfortunately I was getting beer at the time so this is the 1st I have known about it!!

SCIAG
Lower West
SCIAG We had a really good thing going! Why did we change it?

Injuries. While the squad looks good on paper too many similar type players. Which has resulted in a one dimensional formation. That's difficult to change.

We have three fit central midfielders, including the one who is most "different" from the rest.

We should be playing all three. 4-3-3 has worked, 4-4-2, so far this season, hasn't worked nearly as well.

I'm not convinced that any two of our forwards are that similar, except maybe McCleary and Hurtado, but that's besides the point.

Actually we have 4 if you count Obita - Taylor could slot in a left back quite adequately.

I don't, because he's a left back, and is shit at CM.

Indeed
I think this has been established beyond doubt

Not quite - Clarke was obviously looking at my suggestion yesterday

It was actually a good move as Obita provided some energy and closed players down a lot more than Piazon.(not tricky!)
That doesn't mean (to me) he's any good as a wide midfielder and he produced nothing going forward.
