McDermott for me; unfinished business, shouldn't have been sacked before and has the track record we need.

1) Poyet is a no-no. Only just joined AEK a fortnight ago.

2) Pearson or Parky with Murty as assistant.

3) Has this all come from CW's story in GetReading this evening? or will we actually need to wait until tomorrow's pre match press conference to see if Clarke has walked?

For the 5th time I am calling for Mick McCarthy. He has got teams into premier league. He plays the way that is in reading DNA and which has bought us our previous two promotions (4-4-2). He isn't afraid to play youngsters. It's unlikely he would be tempted elsewhere. He has always been a fan of the reading approach (and players). And he is great at assembling a decent team with limited funds(hardly spent a penny at Ipswich). I also think like his deadpan humour.

However I have been disappointed before so no doubt will be again....

Other than that no to Pearson or Sherwood. Yes to Mowbray or hasselbank. I'll support another team if it's McLeish.

Norfolk Royal We haven't even got the option of nicking the manager from our feeder club as Hughton would be a bit of a mare.

Knowing NSC's obsession with us I can guarantee they've seen that and are probably foaming at the mouth shouting the word 'tinpot' like there's no tomorrow.

Notes would be fantastic. Manu were too big for him but I'd have no issue being a little Everton.

Clarke is still a fcuk faced pcunthole though

windermere_royal Jimmy Floyd is on the ladder to the top, starting at the bottom. he would be off at the 1st chance. no thanks

Yep.
The ideal manager would be someone that's good but never quite good enough to attract the attention of bigger clubs.

Alternatively go for someone black who never played in the premier league, they'll never get poached.

My ideal replacement - absolutely hands down Steve Bruce.

Cannot believe how little credit this fella gets. Delivers time & again.

In terms of who we can actually get - not got a fcuking clue!

Moyes would go to Leeds over us if it came to it.

No way! He couldn't deal with a 3rd sacking so quickly.

We need to get Moyes out of our heads. Way out of our league. Hope to god it's not Sherwood.

Quite honestly, I think I'd have McD back at this point. There's a distinct lack of choice at the moment.

genome I'd be well up for Jovanovic, and I'd expect Vydra would be too.

Edit: A quick Google tells me he's already manager elsewhere. Never mind.

Well so was Clarke!

Never warmed to Clarke, so actually not too upset that he's off.

Goes without saying that he's behaved like a complete and utter crusty cockwomble though - I hope Lady Sasima writes a song about him.

Dinosaur, (sorry him, not you). You can sack the Sports Science and Analytical team if he joins. They'll be sitting around with their thumbs up their @rses the day after he walks through the door.
