I like the idea of being a bit more creative than just scooping up a new manager from the pool of recently sacked / perennially underachieving blokes getting bandied about.

What about trying to lure Rodgers until end of season, he already knows the club, can have his pick of clubs in the summer and if he pulls off a miracle and gets us promoted he may well stay (subject to being backed with funds)!!!

Mate that's worse than the comment on AE.

How could you say that? Have you no compassion?! Do you want to watch the world burn?!

New manager poll

by Z175 » 19 Nov 2015 10:11

Looks like it is time for a poll... You can vote for up to 3 people.

Although I'd love to see Paolo Di Canio (The only Sunderland Manager in the 53 years I've supported the club I was sorry to see go) get a chance to prove his worth I realise that isn't going to happen.
Therefore it has to be Nigel Pearson. I'm astonished that Fulham are taking Clarke from you; why, what's he actually done either with you or at WBA? It's particularly hard to understand when it's less than a month ago that the hopeless Kit Symon's side put three past Clarke's defence in five minutes.
The day we appointed Steve Bruce, having poached him from Wigan, I went on their message-board and said they were replacing him with the man we should have gone for. Get Pearson and it will be a very similar situation.

There have been a few games this season where we've had 4 strikers on the pitch but we wouldn't score if the match went on for 24hrs...

SC tactical ineptitude meant we would never get consistent results.

No 'Ian Royal' option?

Or 'Other'?

Poor polling...

Change it so you can vote for 3 then take the leading 5 candidates at the end of the day and make a short list to see who wins.

The result will, of course, then be binding on the club.

My three :

Pearson
Rowett
Moyes

Well that merge went wrong.

Sorry CS - might need to re-add the poll thread and I'll merge them the right way round next time.
