LWJ Press conference tomorrow. Expected he will now stay
GetReading Steve Clarke has rejected the chance to move to Fulham.
Royals’ boss, who only took over at Reading in December last year, looked set to take over at Craven Cottage following talks with the west London club during the past 24 hours.
Speculation increased this morning that an announcement was imminent when Reading cancelled a planned press conference where Clarke was due to speak.
But getreading.co.uk understands he has now made a major u-turn and decided to stay at Madejski Stadium.

6ft Kerplunkmelonhead if we gave our permission to speak, he spoke, then came back and said yeah, I prefer it here
is that really so bad?
Indeed. If we gave permission for them to talk to him Clarke's hardly going to be feeling wanted here and will want to see what they have to offer.

Pepe the Horseman When asked why it fell through.

Wanted to take all staff. Not completely over yet though.
CountryRoyal Maybe so. After this, however, a couple of bad results and the crowd will really start to get on his back, he will eventually lose the fans, the players.
I don't see him turning it around. His days are numbered imho.

If there was a chance still of him going, there wouldn't be a press conference tomorrow I wouldn't have thought.
