When I find myself in times of trouble
Shahid Khan comes to me
Wanting me for Fulham, let it be
And in my hour of darkness
I realise they are not Chelsea
Im going back to Reading, let it be

Let it be, let it be
Let it be, let it be
Im going back to Reading, let it be

Blimey AMBERS, given your total number of postings during the last decade, this Clarkie business has obviously got you excited. Or something like that.

Going slightly off topic but know what you mean, as I'm still prone to periodic chants of 'He's Jimmy Kebe and he does what he wants'. Leading on to flashbacks of THAT moment against the 'Appee 'Ammers. God bless you Jimmy lad.

At the end of the day re Clarke, he's still the gaffa and the way football is now, Managers come and go. My heart is with the club not with individuals. All clubs have a list as long as your arm of players and managers who have been idiots......

I have a festive ditty......

Clarke, the Mad Stad faithful sing,
You've a job here at Reading.
Spend our cash on what you need,
Get a call from old Shahid.
Up the M4, off you go,
Turn around, "Need much more dough!"
We can see through all of it,
You really couldn't give a sh1t
Clarke, the Mad Stad faithful sing,
Commit or fcuk out of Reading!

Attending my first game this season. Hope to hear something amusing & orginal (I don't just mean our Lady's new Royals anthem)

However, I expect it will be the usual din of windswept silence punctuated by irksome tutting.

Not hugely enthused about the prospect in all honesty......

Oh come now, you'll at least hear some half-arsed rhythmic clapping.
