Maneki Neko I simply will not put up with such mockery

Karacan was certainly busy, and often very effective, but to describe him as tidy is just a little off the mark to say the very least.

He was about as tidy as a rabid jack russel injected with adrenalin and crack.

I must respectfully disagree.
He was a ratter who would lay the ball off simply when he got it, in what was often a tidy fashion, as he does in that video.
Though I agree his general running and playing style were not very tidy at all.

I must respectfully disagree. He certainly could do the simply lay off tidily. Unfortunately, he spent quite a lot of his time just hooking the ball up into the air over his shoulder or aimlessly punting it up field.

MoorgateRoyal
PistolPete Anyone know how he's getting on at Gala?

That was his debut (I think). Typical Jem, winning tackles and retaining the ball. He's also on the receiving end of a poor challenge from an opponent, although at least not against Leeds.

Retaining the ball? a 67 second video and there's 3 instances of diving into a tackle in his own half and the ball going straight to the opposition.

There's also examples of him retaining the ball, but whatever mate.

Just trying to add balance. It was typical Jem though, running around a lot, not always to much effect and then getting clattered. Sums up his last 3 seasons at Reading.

Don't get me wrong, i like Jem and would have been happy for him to stay but lets not overegg the pudding. There's nothing on that albeit brief clip to make me yearn for his return.

Anyway, check out the post match interview with him. To describe it as awkward doesn't do it full justice.

Hard to believe such a limited player could get a start in the Champions League. Fair play to the lad. I'd still rather Tish than Karacan though!

He's not even as good a footballer as Roy Scheider tbh.
