Predictions - Nottingham Forest (A)

by CountryRoyal » 27 Nov 2015 07:58

Just going to put this out here but I don't think we've ever won when I've started the prediction thread. Sorry.

Anyway, forest are dreadful and all of their fans are predicting we win.

Second away defeat on the bounce.

1-0 Forest.

I think we might scrape a 1 nil win.

Away from the frosty stares of Reading home fans, the tactical genius that is Steve Clarke may be able to motivate his underperforming stars to scrape past another poor side.

Clarke will continue his quest to turn one of the best Championship players from last season into a bit part player. Vydra must be wondering what he has to do to get into what is turning into a pretty boring, ordinary team.

He will then enter into talks with any team that offers him a few bob more.

Has Vydra not started every game he has been fit for?... and been fairly average

As much as I dislike Nottingham Forest (which is a lot) I'm afraid bad form or not they have some quality players.

Always an exciting fixture up there with goals so for that reason I'm going with a dull 1-1, our goal coming from a Norwood special/set piece

Forest are awful so we should win.
The Reading Christmas (well all year round) spirit is to give of points generously to anyone doing badly.
Mills is playing for them, which should help our away fans make more noise and means their defence will be truly dreadful.

I think Mills tips the balance in our favour. 0-1 Reading. Blackman, maybe from a penalty given away by Mills.

He always does. It's tradition. Don't be nasty.

Anyway:

Forest 2 - Reading 0. Howe begs Fulham to take Clarke, Fulham demure, we're stuck with him.

o

Actually he has been tirelessly working, and making incisive runs into key areas that have routinely been ignored or not seen by his team mates. It would suggest to me that he is head and shoulders better than they are.

what is the point of ever posting any kind of match prediction?
when we get down to it, what is the point of posting anything at all, anywhere?

its a shit pointless thread that exists purely so that one person after the game can say - see I said that this is what the score would be - in a post that other people will barely read or respond to.
my predictions are poison in the throat of those such as yourself who take the prediction thread so seriously that theyd get mildly rattled by someone disrespecting it.

a pox on it I say!

0-1 Gunter in the 82nd minute.

Looking forward to getting back to this thread after the match, with a "told you so" message, then receiving the obligatory "did you put money on it?" responses. I will then say "yes, a tenner", just so I don't look foolish, when in fact I'm not going to risk a tenner on such a stupid outside bet.

Of course when it doesn't come off, I will ignore this thread completely and look forward to the next prediction thread.

Horrible weekend for Forest fans as Derby move top and Reading win 2-0 at the city ground.
