This is bollocks, what's going on? We're embarassing ourselves here.

I keep seeing Guy Luzon's face on web pages regarding the vacancy too. Sort it out.

Coppelled_Streets CW said yesterday that a club source all but confirmed McD was a done deal, so his sources are questionable

Or perhaps, his sources are fine and told him the correct information at the time, and circumstances changed later on.

Circumstances can always change. Maybe a lesson for CW to be a tad more circumspect in future.

But did he actually confirm it? I was under the impression it was always "set to" or "expected".

Is it just me who has my fingers crossed for a more exciting appointment than Brian McD?

AthleticoSpizz ....sorry to keep harping-on but, at about 8 pm last night GetReading headlined that BM had been unveiled as our new manager.....unveiled as in " confirmed"

At least a few of us read and believed it...........still no explaination or apology forthcoming from GR.
Shoddy

If that is the case then it was clearly just an error - perhaps they had got the article ready for publication but accidentally published it. Also, not sure how much you could blame Charles for that, seeing as he wasn't actually working...

Did you rush out and get a welcome back Brian full back tattoo?

Otherwise I really can't see why you need an apology
No tattoo so OK, you are so right, I don't need an apology, an explanation to the masses for their p1ss poor harbinging of bullshit might be good. It's good manners

Yeah and in the linked article, nowhere does it say it's a done deal, and even if it did, CW wouldn't post it without reliable sources confirming that.

Are you guys bored or something? It's not a big deal, let's just see what happens.

I saw the headline that he had been revealed as the new manager.

There was even a survey monkey on the website. They were asking our opinion of the new appointment and who we think the key players will be in McDermott's new team.

They were saying he had got the job.

How are we? The media far and wide ran with McD returning here yesterday. That isn't RFC embarrassing themselves is it?! The club is rightfully taking its time to get this appointment right. McD was 'probably' the first choice, with a helping hand from SJM.. If we do have a short-list of three, then we'll talk to the others.

Charles was on a day off yesterday, so he wouldn't have put any article up. It was most likely Jon who covers him.

I love that everyone thinks Charles Watts would still take his day off on the day that he is most needed.

Obviously if that is the case it's now wonder some intern managed to accidentally publish the story

No, you're not the only one! I can't go through another season of seeing the ball in the air more often than not and comments of, "We move on" if the wins aren't coming. Didn't some of the players complain about neck ache during his time as manager?
