Little bit more coming out about Lennon - Bolton due to go into admin tomorrow and the compensation from us will be paid towards their debts (clearly won't touch the sides). Bolton's squad and management haven't been paid for some time. From what I hear he could do a job - has zero resources there.

Might be utter sh1t, but is coming from a credible source close to BWFC.

Don't believe a word of it. Considering the majority of enthusiasm over the re-hiring of Brian, if they were going to go with someone else it would have to be someone pretty spectacularly good to appease the fans, which Neil Lennon clearly isn't.

Well I guess I'll have a few extra quid in my pocked for 18 months.

Maybe McDonut's aren't so bad after all..

Has clearly had a tough time at Bolton due to the financial issues but surely he could have done a bit better than he has with the players he has?

I don't believe we would plump for him TBH.

The Bolton fans rate him. HMRC winding up petition on BWFC now confirmed.

And just stop and think....if BMc was coming back why is Kuhl in the dug out for PNE?

Fair enough if they went for someone else that was actually a better option than McDermott, but not Neil Lennon, he is nowhere near good enough.

Good to see you giving a young passionate manager who won league titles (I know...they were only in Scotland) and plays attacking entertaining football a chance.

I'd rather NL over hoof McD anytime.

Lennon is no less "hoof" and no more "attacking" than McDermott.

The players weren't paid in November.

Presume the same goes for the manager.

That means they can walk away from the now-null contract, surely?

So Lennon shouldn't cost too much and probably wouldn't want huge wages.

Avram Grant to Swansea.

His last two Premier League jobs, Pompey and West Ham, both finished 20th. Hat-trick and match ball if he sends Swans down!

I think they have to go three consecutive months without being paid before they become free agents.

I certainly wouldn't take Neil Lennon or Oscar Garcia if Brian McDermott is available. If it's not McDermott now, it had better be someone pretty mighty impressive for me to be won round.

I'd take Oscar Garcia over McDermott any day to do a better job with this set of players.
