Di Canio is 1/100 on Betfair! Surely that's a mistake!

OK panic over looks like someone has just withdrawn the open offers on Di Canio so the price has moved but no actual money for him

Mid Sussex Royal
RoyalinBracknell I certainly wouldn't take Neil Lennon or Oscar Garcia if Brian McDermott is available. If it's not McDermott now, it had better be someone pretty mighty impressive for me to be won round.

I'd take Oscar Garcia over McDermott any day to do a better job with this set of players.

On what basis, out of interest?

Reading through comments by Brighton fans and his approach seems exactly the same that has failed for us before, with references to '65% possession with two shots on target' and 'being quite good on the ball in their own half'.I don't think he's ever lasted as a manager at a club for more than a year?

Surely it won't be Lennon? Managing a struggling club in the Championship whilst seemingly having a different media commitment pretty much every week and he always seems to be mouthing off at referees, etc.- don't think I'd want him representing the club.

With a much improved and winning performance at Preston on Saturday, will that throw Martin Khul's hat in the job circle ?

The emphasis on Possession football is dead, even Barcelona have veered away from it. It was fashionable a few years ago when McDermott was sacked and you were all clamouring for it because Swansea were doing it but football has changed and now a more counter attacking style is in vogue.

Managers like Garcia are no longer ahead of the times they are being left behind and that coupled with his penchant for running when the going is tough means he's a no go for me.

Still better than Neil bloody Lennon though tbf.

Pepe the Horseman Would be a horrendous appointment if true.

'greed. Not for any nationalistic or sectarian reasons either.

Certainly won't renew my ST if it's him.

Never heard of Garcia until you lot started going on about him. Have a personal dislike of Lennon, would be hugely gutted if he became manager.

A deeply unpleasant individual. I am surprised that a club like Reading would want that type of man anywhere near them. Smacks of desperation.

From a footballing perspective, if he gets the job, prepare for League 1. My son was sitting in the West Stand for the recent game against Bolton. He and his girlfriend were very near the away dugout. Lennon abused the 4th official, referees assistant, his own players all afternoon. My lad said it was awful to see and hear.

I won't bother going anymore if that awful bigot gets the job.

I'd go to Chelsea if I were you. They don't have bigots there.

Garry Monk in my opinion is our best shout atm, if Bergkamp is off to Swansea that is.

Lacoste

Talk us through why Monk would be a good appointment.
