Charles Watts webchat starts now on the GetReading site.

Time to find out why he got it so wrong about McDermott and why he announced that he is revealed as Reading's new boss when the news had not been confirmed.

I've posed my question. Hopefully it won't be moderated out.

According to Charles Watts. Reading were expecting to announce McDermott on Tuesday evening/Wednesday morning. But something delayed the appointment. He says that with so many people now at the top of the club (Thais) it is taking longer to get a decision.

I wonder how McDermott may feel if he was almost appointed and now we are considering two others.

This is starting to look like another fine mess.

Charles is not going to answer my question of why did you announce that he has been appointed manager before it was confirmed by the club.

"According to Charles Watts"

He's dug himself into a bit of a hole hasn't he - now has to make it sound like it was (almost) a done deal when the reality is it may never have been as close as he thought.

He's just answering safe questions like what dangerous players do Preston have....

Rather than why did you Charlie Watts announce McDermott as Reading Manager before the club confirmed it.

He's in a right hole.

'lista Ural Kuntz

You've just reminded me of an account that used to be held at one of the banks I worked in - Urec Unt. Always thought it was a joke until the poor bloke phoned in one day.

He wouldn't even post my question asking him what his favourite pizza was. #WattsOut

Anyway, onto more important matters. I can't wait for Saturday and watch Blackman goulash it in from 30 yards.

Finally he has allowed one question through on his conduct:

These questions posed by some bloke called Green

"Do you feel getreading's credibility has taken a battering this week? To what extent do you scrutinise your sources before "breaking" a story?"

Yeh fair play that was a fairly pointed question and he's taken it.

Hopefully he'll get onto pizza soon.

Check this out for his response:

"@Green: Not at all. You honestly think I would go with a story like that if I wasn't totally convinced it was happening. Sometimes things change that are out of your control. Trust me, when I published that story everyone, right to the top of the club, were expecting Brian to appointed later that day."

There are a lot of questione being posed to Charles that he couldn't possibly know the answers to like this one:

"If Brian does return do you see him bringing back any old players/staff? Sal bibbo etc."

Why ask Charles that question? I don't give a sh*t what Charles thinks. That question should be posed to Brian in his first press conference if he actually gets the job.
