Exchange odds mean exactly the same as bookies' you muppet. It's demand and supply, just in a different market. The more money that goes on a particular manager, the lower the odds are. Simple. If anything Exchange odds are even more unreliable as you get people on there buying low and then trying to create a buzz so they can sell high, without anything meaningful behind the movements.

Until you see huge amounts of money being wagered on short odds don't read anything into it.

Thank you all.

But I've not been appointed. I'd like to come back, and the board and I are in a good place as it stands, but I need to iron out some bits and pieces first.

The less I hear about Nigel Pearson being in the running, the more upset I become.

Or are we all ostriches?

I've got Brian's address. Should I send him a Christmas card?

I'd 100% prefer Brian McDermott to Oscar Garcia.

Brighton played pretty dull football under him from what I saw.p and reading through some Brighton forums suggests we might be back to the passing the ball around our back 4 approach which hasn't served us well the last few times we've tried it.

Garcia also seem to have a tendency to only stay at clubs for the short-term which is the last thing we end right now.

McDermott's record at this level is more impressive and I think he'd be a more popular appointment against supporters.

Really hope we appoint McDermott tomorrow. For one thing I'll be devestated if it's not him now! For another, I don't think we want the feeling of uncertainty dragging into a home match of we can at all help it.

I'm with you on this. He's the obvious choice

That was an error, though - I contacted them myself, funny enough, and it's since been corrected to 25/1 (as it was meant to be).

 @ actually being that bothered to take time to actually do this.

Why? He's a massive oxf*rd. I personally would struggle to support him.

Kuhl's got us playing fairly well tonight. I wouldn't be upset with him getting the job full time, based on the 40 minutes I've seen... this is the closest we've formed up to the shape and quality we had when we were shit hot. He's better than most of the options... Garcia and Luzon for two.

I'd rather Kuhl than Garcia and Luzon based on nothing but his affiliation with the club.

McDermott is still miles ahead.

Maybe the players respond to a descent down to earth bloke in charge even more reason to appoint Brian.

McDermott & Kuhl would be a mighty pairing. Big IN from me.
