Ian Royal Ref's been poor.

But we deserve everything we got tonight despite the unfortunate injuries.

Negative start where we just cried and ran away when Hull came out strong, rather than trying to hold them and carry on the good play.

Poor sub from Kuhl. Keown should have come on for Taylor so Hector could stay where he was playing well. Hull's better start (which we should have anticipated) and Hector's move screwed us. Ferdinand should have cleared the first and then his injury screwed us more, Fernandez shouldn't have been so easy to ease of the header and should have been covering attackers, as should Norwood.

Second looked offside, but poor clearing our lines and picking up midfielders in our box again. Didn't help being down to 10 after a kick in Gunter's face.

We can't punt it up and ask Vydra to win it and beat 3 defenders on his own, especially when the ball goes nowhere near him.

Totally self inflicted.

Agree to a degree, why wasnt Keown brought on when Taylor went off? He's meant to be a full back primarily isn't he?

We lost it when Hector went to right-back.

If that was good then we're in for a relegation battle

Extended-Phenotype Reading looked good. Hull beat us up. Ref pulled a Hull shirt on. Game over.

The only thing we did well was score a good goal

Shocking defending tonight, lucky Bond kept us in it

Mid table is us

Thought we passed it well, looked tidy and organised, defended well and were looking dangerous on the attack.

Hull only seemed to find a way through when Taylor was injured and we had to change shape.

Second goal went in when down to 10 with only 1 of our original back 4 on the pitch.

For me, the changes were all wrong. A proper manager would have got us at least a point there.

Sorry Martin.

tidus_mi2 Someone will have to prove to me he was onside, a 45 degree angle camera shot from Sky won't cut it.

Onside - he was level at very worst with McShane.

Ian Royal Same story as it's been for three years. We sit and defend against a team offering nothing going forward, gifting them possession back endlessly, offering no threat against their defence and just inviting them to keep plugging away unopposed until they get a reward. Funnily enough their confidence soars and one of their chances go in. Our heads drop, we've dug ourself in a hole we can't get out of and they hit us again.

This.

For 3 straight years

To be fair to Kuhl, he set us up perfectly. Wrong decision to bring on Fernandez for Taylor though, and then injuries fcuked us.

This. If you have a good shape and pick up an injury, make a simple change. Like for like.

Don't uproot the whole team.

All the goals were totally fine. No offsides.

Ref was totally fine. Let 'em get on with it (although he did call a few wrong but swings and roundabouts, it's supposed to be a man's game.)

Can we have the Portuguese bird as a physio? Those two clowns are the real criminals tonight.

As I said earlier, what's the point in naming a full back on the bench if you're not going to use him when you need to?

Three injuries to the back four? No wonder we oxf*rd lost! Up until then we were playing really well.

Every time we put a team out, half the fvckers get injured, including the usual sick notes. If not during the match they get fvcked over in training.. Are we the weakest, wet bunch of pcunts in this division? Any stats on if we have had the most injuries this year and last year? It's becoming farcical.

A bit more heart and effort on display. A lack of quality 2nd half and some bad luck with injuries.

I'd written this match off already so nice to see that the players hadn't.

Not sure the new gaffer will be too chuffed to be three defenders down first match - maybe he'll delay his arrival a bit longer.

Yep!

Williams sh1te, zero control
Vydra, why bother, never, ever, looks like scoring and his stupid little flicks continually give the ball away
McCleary, why not give the ball away, again and again
Tactics - second half totally fuc£ing negative
Luck, zilch
Tackling - what tackling
Throw ins - let's all stand still shall we
Corners - do they ever practice?

More likely to fall into the relegation zone than top 6

Did Clarke bring in his own fitness team?
