Should we refuse to return the ball to Hull City?

Seeing how Hull City have behaved tonight by instantly pressing to score the winner after booting Chris Gunter out of the game to reduce to us to 10 men, they refused to give us time to bring him back on and pressed for the winner. I think that was EXTREMELY unsporting of them especially the fact he was BLEEDING!!!

There are moments when I can understand when a player fakes an injury to waste time and therefore should be forced off, but in this case, Gunter was actually BLEEDING and therefore not FAKING!!

I don't think that's fair or sporting.

So, I think when they come visiting later in the season (19th April), we should refuse to give them the ball back when they kick ball out if one of their players are "injured". Yeah? YEAH? YEAH?

No. They wanted to win. Cos they are c***s. I think it's only fair that we show them the same respect that they showed us.

That's them doing their job, they wanted wo win because they're fighting for the top stop. We would have done the same.

Gunter needed to come off or stitches and the referee took him off the field to get treatment. Are they meant to wait 20 minutes for him to get better, what if he never recovers to a point he can play, should the match be called off?

A player gets injured, kick the ball out of play, let him get treatment, carry on.

Thought it was pretty petty of Hull to do what they did, they clearly wanted us down to 10 men. But we'd probably have done the same and sadly that is the way it is.
As for refusing to give them the ball next time we play them, I suspect it will all be completely forgotten by then.

Gunter was never going to return though - so i guess we would all still be sat here now waiting....

The cut was too deep to patch up with a bandage, plus it started swelling up.

If the ball goes into the crowd and they want it back quickly for a throw in then it's standard practice for the crowd to delay returning it until their own team have made up the ground to cover off any quick attack...... it should be standard practice for the ball boys/girls only more discretely.

Blame Gunter for being soft. A real man would have got up and carried on regardless.
