FAO Chris Gunter

Would it be too much to ask - when in the opposition penalty area - instead of performing a truly pathetic and embarrassing dive, to actually attempt a forward or incisive pass? I know you're not capable of one, but at least give it a try.

Please kindly leave the club, you oxf*rd pansy.

Couldn't see if it was a dive from the away end, but judging by the reception he got afterwards and the comment by those who watched on sky, absolutely disgraceful.

I actually I felt he's been improved as of late, but he's still shit.

He's the sort of person who would listen to the Pet Shop Boys before going into battle.

Enough contact for a pen. Gunter had a good game otherwise. The constant hate towards him is odd.

sandman Dreadful dive but it pretty much summed up Gunter, he makes these runs but has no idea what to do when he is in and around either box.

Enough said.

This exactly

There are far more serious problems with the team than the performances of Chris Gunter

And all he did wrong was to over do the dive. It's a part of the game I'm afraid. I hate the way players feign injury and pretend to be fouled but it's not our players job to address that - write to the FA or FIFA! But in the meantime teams must play the officials or the refs just don't give free kicks at all - get over it.

He blocked me

I'd also like to say that Gunter actually had a brilliant game I thought but...

I don't agree that he "over did the dive"

He threw himself to the ground. You may say "that is the modern game" but it doesn't mean I have to accept it or like it.

Get a grip you bunch of fecking pussies. two hands in his back by Henry warranted a push.maybe he went down easily, if it happened at the other end you would have been screaming for a pen

I actually wouldn't. I've seen some Reading players dive in an attempt to win a penalty - pog springs to mind.

It fuks me off to see any player do it

Time to replace Gunter with a right back who can cross a ball into the box.

Got a list of alternatives that would be available to sign in January?

And stop a ball being crossed into our box.

Nothing worse than what Long used to do for us on a regular basis. If we get the penalty and go on to win the game then no one would care.

Long is much quicker than Gunter and when a player is running at pace the slightest clip can put them off balance. Gunter simply couldn't make up his mind what to do, slowed down due to his indecision and took a dive because he realised his chance had gone.

Gunter has been an ever present for every manager he has played for since he left Spurs, and his national team. His work rate is immense, he was even our captain. Thought he had a good game, a 'fall over' instead of a 'dive' may have got a penalty. These things happen in football these days. Get over it.
