Not being absolutely clueless and totally out of his depth would have been a good start.
Then again, if Perez wasn't a complete idiot and sacked the best manager in the world last summer then Benitez would have been at West Ham.

Sanguine Benitez won 17 of 25 games. Since Perez's public backing, they had won 2 and drawn 1, and scored 15 goals.
He was sacked because he lost 4-0 to Barcelona. There's not much more to it than that.
Agreed on your second point though.

No Fixed Abode It's certainly beaten the Steve Clarke sacking for joke of the season.

TBM Bayern Munich coach Pep Guardiola says he is leaving the German club to manage in England
So where do we reckon he'll end up, obviously it'll be either Utd, City, Chelsea or Arsenal - i'm guessing Utd will want him but he will favour City

No Fixed Abode I really hope City win the league in a funny kind of way as it'll be one of the harshest sackings of all time.

AthleticoSpizz Marine? Has he not heard of AFC Liverpool?
At least Marine is right by a railway station outside of Liverpool too

Silver Fox Would it even be a sacking? Does pellegrini's contract extend beyond the end of the season?
NB, I don't know the answer to these or many other questions

YateleyRoyal I still think Guardiola to Arsenal would make the most 'sense' - don't see him fitting at City or Chelsea, maybe United at a push.

harsher than sacking Di Matteo after 8 months in charge in November 2012? In that period they won the FA Cup and the Champions League. Decent bloke too.
He was replaced by Benitez for the totallolz.
