Slightly different player but one I really highly rate from watching number of times for Gillingham is Bradley Dack. Wouldn't be cheap but he'd add something different and quality to our squad still think we couple get him for a couple million.

I do worry that with Blackman leaving, we have Sa, Vydra and not a lot else up front, so a decent option off the bench is needed so someone like Dack or Bradshaw could be a worth a punt. More importantly though, we need to find a formation and starting line up that works, fitting round pegs in round holes. Blackman leaving could be a blessing in disguise in that respect.

Why not, Lasse Vibe went to brentford and came from the best club in Sweden.

Danish and Swedish leagues are of a similar level.

Disagree on the striker front. I'm sure McDermott will continue to play 4-4-2 (Sa & Vydra) and that only leaves Cox & Liburd until Samuel is back. Cox isn't good enough and Liburd is young and unproven.

I don't think we need a new first team striker but some backup would be helpful.

Playing with 2 up top you'll always need at least 4 strikers over a season.

Dack is an attacking midfielder - he wouldn't play in a front 2 or 3.

SC did wonders with him, and prob credited with the inflated price we got, plus it goes some way to repay his £1.25m compensation !
