From the BBC Football gossip page:

Blues boss Guus Hiddink has said that injury has left him short of striking options and he could make a move for West Brom's Saido Berahino, 22.

But he is also considering other possibilities, including Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy, 29 and former Arsenal, Manchester City and Tottenham striker Emmanuel Adebayor, 31

Not sure Vardy would want to take a backward step

A relative of mine is very close friends with Vardy and I chatted to them over Christmas about him. It was quite interesting and he has discussed possible transfers with them.

That is all

Blimey Mr A. Believing everything on the BBC Gossip page, which in turn is taken from the tabloids.

Vardy would be absolutely nuts to move now. So he will.

? Short term I would agree. Long term, not a chance.

You just know Leicester won't do as well next season. Even if Vardy stays in this transfer window he'll probably be off in the summer. As I suspect Mahrez and perhaps Kante will.

Vardy is 29. If I were him I'd be grabbing the one and only massive contract he's likely to get.

This is the sort of insight you can only get from relatives who are close friends of players

FT: Chelsea 2-2 West Brom

Chelsea may be over but there is plenty going of post match.

Guess who? Yep, Diego Costa again.

The striker wants to have a go at everyone, has a pop at goalkeeper Boaz Myhill, before finally getting escorted away.

You have got to love the street fighter in him.

"Diego Costa is going after anyone who is willing to have a fight with him!

"He's just gone after Myhill for no reason.

"I think he's played really well, he's got nothing from the referee, and West Brom have been winding him up all night.

"But you can't just go up to the opposition goalkeeper and ask for a fight on the final whistle!

No chance, let it continue. Only 6 points off the drop zone.

Considering Chelsea have only won 5 home league games in the last 8 months, you can see why West Brom were so disappointed only getting a draw there last night

still, onwards and upwards for Chelsea. Another point in their fight against relegation.

Should have won that last night. Yacob not getting a second yellow was absolute jokes.

Still - at least the Chelsea players didn't link hands at the end and celebrated like it was a victory.
