marlowuk We have, if memory serves, a pretty good record against West Brom in the cup competitions?

09/10 drew the home game, won the replay

10/11 won home game

Happy enough with West Brom - assuming they get through. Won't be easy but one of the better ones we could have got.

And 2005-06, drew 1-1 away before coming from 2-0 down to win 3-2.

I doubt if the game will be televised as it is the least attractive other than Watford v Leeds.
Good, a 3-00 Saturday kick-off.

Yet another West Brom draw. We seem to do well when we play them though, let's just hope Berahino has done one by then.

Meh. Neither "box office" nor "interestingly quirky". I'd have preferred Middlesbrough away in the league that weekend, as originally scheduled. Oh well, here's hoping for a victory, and something better in the next round.

Not so sure. Don't the TV like Premiership v lower league clubs in dodgy form?
Mind you it is West Brom so you maybe right.

I'd expect West Brom to win the replay.

If so we could do with them getting a bit nearer the bottom by the time the draw comes round so they rest a few players - currently 7 points clear; I thought they were nearer the bottom 3 than that.

At least Peterborough would make for an interesting game, but West Brom?

Still be a Premiership scalp. Winnable game who ever we play.

At least no silly KO time for TV either.

I agree it's winnable and certainly one of the better ones to pull, but let's not get ahead of ourselves, we're in danger of sounding like the Walsall lot.
