You could smell the poverty from the away end.

No thanks. Don't particularly want to get relegated.

In fairness some of the Warsaw crew, who've posted on here, have been diplomatic in their approach. Whereas the talk on their boards was more about who they were going to play in the next round. Moral of the story being that you shouldn't start giving it large before your 'occasion'. Fair play to the Saddlers who've come on here with reasonable comments.

hullsaddler
Green Hull and Walsall - strong brace of towns there.

Lived here for more than 40 years. Not as bad as it's sometimes painted. UK City of Culture 2017 , ,,, you should visit and challenge some of your preconceptions!

TBF I can well imagine it's the sort of place you'd come away thinking "well, that wasn't quite as bad as I thought", but not sure it's really weekend break material.

Not until I've crossed off Stockton on Tees, Warrington and Dundee anyway.

I once had the choice of doing a one month project in Hull or 6 months away from my family in Nuremberg. Having been to Hull for three days, I opted for Nuremberg. I hope I don't have to go back in a hurry. All the hotels were rank too in Hull
