Barcelona And How They Produce Players

by Amber23 » 03 Feb 2016 16:40

i think its honestly quite astonishing how Barcelona keep producing these players time after time and they get them to play in the same style of play which no one bar pep guardiola can imitate i think the english game as a whole is lightyears behind how countries like spian develop their players

Barcelona crushed Valencia 7-0 with hat-trick from Lionel Me

by ice123 » 04 Feb 2016 06:32

The Barcelona left now virtually sentenced qualifying for the final of the Copa del Rey after beating Valencia 7-0 with poker Luis Suarez hat-trick and Lionel Messi.

It was a night display for Barcelona against a team that justified why the decline in the Spanish League is a real option.

In a first time to remember, Luis Suarez scored the first two goals (7 and 12 minutes), Lionel Messi scored the third (29 ') and crashed a ball into the crossbar and Brazilian Neymar missed a penalty to stroke of half (46 ').

In that play, the German defense Shkodran Mustafi tripped inside the area to Messi and the referee ordered a penalty and expelled the German plant, so the inferiority Valencia played the entire second half.

Outnumbered without forcing too much the machine, the Barcelona striker festival continued after the break, a period in which Messi scored two goals (59 'and 74') and Suarez has closed the other two (83 and 88).

Around the next week becomes a formality for Barcelona virtually qualified for the final of this competition, which will be held next May 21 in a stadium to determine the winner of the second semifinal, the first leg play Thursday Sevilla and Celta de Vigo.

Rare that Serie A is exciting, but props to Napoli who continue to hold off Juventus, the latter won their 14th league game in a row at the weekend, but Napoli remain top after their 8th win on the spin. They play each other in Juventus next week.

On the papereyes theme of "I didn't realise that....", I had no idea (until I just read it) Juventus had left Stadio delle Alpi (in 2006 ), or that Torino used to share that ground with them.

Ajax fans hung an effigy of Feyenoord keeper off the stand during the game against each other at the weekend. The keeper used to play for Ajax.

"Completely disrespectful penalty from Bale and Ronaldo last night, what a pair of arrogant tw@ts."

"What, it was Messi and Suarez? I meant sublime genius. How generous of Messi to let his team mate score."

Barcelona 6-1 Celta:Suarez Hat-trick

by ice123 » 15 Feb 2016 08:20

A night that started off as a difficult one for Barcelona ended in a festival of Catalan goals, thanks to two astonishing showings from Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez, against Celta in a 6-1 final.

Barcelona produced an extraordinary second half display, chalking up five goals to turn a close encounter into an exhibition match, with Luis Suárez sealing his hat-trick from a Lionel Messi pass – from the penalty spot

Messi, who could have scored a record 300th La Liga goal with a late penalty, chose to cheekily kick the ball square allowing Suarez to charge into the box and complete his hat-trick to goalkeeper Sergio Blanco's surprise.

Suarez Hat-trick Helps Barca to Crush Celta 6-1

Having seen Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid win earlier in the weekend, Barca could ill-afford a slip-up against a Celta side who won the reverse fixture 4-1 at Balaidos in September.

Not criticising the action, it is within the rules even if merely letting Suarez take the penalty would have been the simple thing, just the reaction.
