Next they play Norwich & West Brom at home (on a Tues night). If they win those they could make things tricky for everyone chasing again.

Arsenal have ManUre away then Swansea at home on the Weds
Spurs have today's, then Swansea at home & West Ham away also on the Weds
Man City don't have a league game after today's until 2nd March.

Silver Fox I'm upgrading my dunno LOL to a "it looks like they'll do it if they get something out of Arsenal at the weekend" with a side order of "If they don't it has to go down as a choke job"

Slight downgrade to "could be"

I'm concerned this will fuck their confidence. I hope not, I'd love to see them do it.

Down to third favourites now.

John Madejski's Wallet They were such good value for the lead until the sending off too.

You think? - they had one weak header and a break-away penalty....apart from that, hardly threatened Arsenal.

Interesting,

I thought they looking far more in control than Arsenal in that 1st half

I thought they looked comfortable but wouldn't say they were such good value. A draw would have been a fair result but stupidity from Simpson and Wasilewski may have just cost them the league.

Saying that, they could realistically be 5 points clear again in 2 weeks time.

No panic for me. I think Tinkerman has got this under control. It would give me no greater pleasure than to see that leather faced old coot at the Emirates being pipped to the post by this bunch of unlikely lads.

Leicester have got a very favourable run in, Arse have too many fingers in pies, Spurs are a joke.

Of their last 10 opponents, Leicester have beaten 8 already this season. But that doesn't really matter - and they'd choose a better last 3 games than City, Everton and Chelsea.

It's squeaky bum time - I'm ambivalent between Leicester* and Spurs winning the title, but please let it be one of them, please.

*Was surprised to find out that Leicester City have never been top flight champions in their history.

Why does that surprise you? - they're not exactly a "hit hitter" of a club

Dunno, just a club I had perceived as reasonably 'big', with a bit of history. No real reason why.
Probably just remembering those heady days of Collymore, Heskey and Cottee. :)

Even though it will be highly embarrassing for Liverpool when they're the team who've thrown the most money at trying to win the Premier League but have never won it......

The sort of club you can imagine having a one-off title in the 30s or the 60s, but I guess your Derbies and your Wolveses have that sown up.

personally would love Spurs to win it. They are a very decent club and despite results I enjoyed our trips there immensely. Easily the best club in London and not many challengers nationally. Also love the fact that they have given so many youngsters responsibility.
I can't quite forgive Leicester for their shoddy financial behaviour when their new stadium was built. But for what they have done in the last 2 seasons they deserve great respect.
Seeing the massive spending, soulless multinational corporation clubs struggling is great but it's only going to be a blip. You can just see the chequebooks coming out again in the summer and more ready made stars being helicoptered in.

White Hart Lane is in a miserable place of London. Can't stand Daniel Levy either.

C'mon Leicester.

I don’t disagree, but short of buying Messi or Neymar, City threw everything at it in the summer – in Sterling and De Bruyne they ought arguably the two best young players in Europe, and Otamendi was considered about as good a defender as any.
United bought everyone and their mother. Chelsea were champions and added Pedro.
It’s just brilliant, utterly brilliant, to see the formula not working, and as above, short of buying Messi or Neymar, it’s difficult to see where these teams go next.
If Sterling and De Bruyne don’t win you a title, who does?

Agree about where Spurs are-one of the worst places in the country.
Would be glad to see Leicester win it , latest odds:-
Arsenal 6/4
Spurs 5/2
Leicester 3/1
City 13/2

Don't want the title to go to a London club.
City have more of the current bottom 6 to play than the others.
Arsenal have to play Spurs and City away.
Leicester have just one of the current top 6 to play but are the only ones not to have another game v (dreadful) Villa.
Spurs and Arsenal both have 3 London derbies to play.

As I see it Arsenal are very poor value at the odds.

Can't disagree that Tottenham High Street is not the most welcoming and the transport links are horrible but the ground has a great atmosphere and the fans are second to none. Other London grounds are deeply depressing places full of miserable looking fans whereas whenever I've been to Spurs (not just for Reading games) there has been a great atmosphere and the home fans actually seem to enjoy the games without taking themselves too seriously. Got a tradition of playing decent football and producing good players as well. Highbury used to be a good place to watch football as well but can't afford the Emirates !

You are right, but inevitably the teams who operate outside normal parameters will chuck more money at it. They have no option. Their megabuys haven't done the job and most of them don't have a working youth system that they trust. The art of actual football management /coaching seems dead so unless Guardiola is an absolute revelation clubs won't risk a manager being able to turn around things with the existing squads, and top managers won't lower themselves to working with 'someone else's' players.
