Silver Fox I'm upgrading my dunno LOL to a "it looks like they'll do it if they get something out of Arsenal at the weekend" with a side order of "If they don't it has to go down as a choke job"

John Madejski's Wallet They were such good value for the lead until the sending off too.

You think? - they had one weak header and a break-away penalty....apart from that, hardly threatened Arsenal.

Sanguine *Was surprised to find out that Leicester City have never been top flight champions in their history.

Why does that surprise you? - they're not exactly a "hit hitter" of a club
Sanguine
It's squeaky bum time - I'm ambivalent between Leicester* and Spurs winning the title, but please let it be one of them, please.

Nameless You can just see the chequebooks coming out again in the summer and more ready made stars being helicoptered in.

No Fixed Abode White Hart Lane is in a miserable place of London. Can't stand Daniel Levy either.
C'mon Leicester.

I don’t disagree, but short of buying Messi or Neymar, City threw everything at it in the summer – in Sterling and De Bruyne they ought arguably the two best young players in Europe, and Otamendi was considered about as good a defender as any.
United bought everyone and their mother. Chelsea were champions and added Pedro.
It’s just brilliant, utterly brilliant, to see the formula not working, and as above, short of buying Messi or Neymar, it’s difficult to see where these teams go next.
If Sterling and De Bruyne don’t win you a title, who does?
