Charlton (A) predictions.

by CountryRoyal » 26 Feb 2016 04:41

We're taking a big following down to bottom of the table Charlton who have 1 win in 16 and last won at home in November. Will we see our first away win since September? Will Kermorgant get his first goal against his old club as so often happens with our former players against us? Can we put back to back wins together?

No.

1-0 Charlton.

CountryRoyal
1-0 Charlton.

But what does your head say?

If Danny is fit and he replaces who we all know who he's going to replace, this could be a Walsall-esque romp against a team with a lot of issues at the moment. The other option is that we stick 6 men permanently behind the ball, much like Charlton might and itll be either 0-0, 1-0 or 0-1 and everybody will leave wondering why they bother.

I am praying for something with a bit of drama like a 5-3 win, we come back from 3-1 down to 3-3 and score 2 in the last ten minutes

6 mins Kermorgant own goal Charlton 1-0 Reading
12 mins Jackson free kick Charlton 2-0 Reading
26 mins Williams 30 yard thunderbolt Charlton 2-1 Reading
44 mins Vetokele Header from corner Charlton 3-1 Reading
54 mins Kermorgant Header Charlton 3-2 Reading
70 mins Rakels jinking run and beat Gk Charlton 3-3 Reading
84 mins Rakels brought down box Pen Charlton 3-4 Reading
92 mins Al Habsi Bicycle kick final whistle Charlton 3-5 Reading

And then I woke up......

I think if we score early they will completely fall apart and it could be a cricket score.

Therefore..

0-0.

I suspect we will win this one.

Charlton 0 - The 'Ding 1 (a midfielder from close range late in the game).

Interested to see what the atmosphere's going to be like tomorrow, looks like we're going to fill out our end, but with all the issues at Charlton at the moment it's going to be half full at best even with the ticket offer.

Should be an easy 0-2 win.

1-0 Charlolton - we give them hope of avoiding relegation but this turns out to be their last win of the season, going down in flames.

Is there anything more tedious on this board than the "we're playing someone rubbish who haven't won forever, nailed on defeat, LOL!!1!!1!" prediction

It may be tedious, but it happens far too often, though.
