Harpers So Solid Crew no doubt as a ST holder WR will be paying a bit more.

I was actually tempted to start coming again, then we see ST holders get yet more discount, as do Palace ST holders, so its a curry and a bottle of vodka instead of going along.

RFC totally out of tune with floating supporters, as ever.

Football club in giving incentives to season ticket holders shocker

CountryRoyal Disappointed with the pricing. Was expecting between £75-£100. Poor move from Reading FC.

League 2 here we come.

They have an incentive already.
there are in the region of 8000 non ST seats available, so its 40k extra if it sells out, Palace are entitled to same prices as well.

40k wont pay HRK wages for two weeks, its on TV, Friday night, shall we start guessing the attendance, I reckon 20k max.

Why can Season Ticket Holders buy 2 tickets but members only 1?

I wanted to buy a ticket for me and then my 3 Man Utd supporting mates who don't give a shit about Reading.

Imagine what this is going to do to the side we put out in West Yorkshire 72 hours before - Watford all over again.

Not really comparable. Watford were chasing promotion and whilst Huddersfield are a different kettle of fish under Wagner, they are still bellow us in the league and aren't exactly amazing. Top it off we have far more squad depth than we had last year. We could easily put out basically an entire new team and still expect it to be competitive.

Scary to think of the depth and that still doesn't include Piazon, Cox, Tish, Fosu, Stacey & Liburd who have all played for the 1st team.

Disappointing it's on Friday, that's the one day I definitely couldn't make, but at least it's on BBC.

I'm not sure we'll make too many changes for the Huddersfield game, maybe rest players who aren't 100% fit, but Brian would probably reward players who played well 3 days earlier when picking his team for Palace.

Exactly, would people be discussing this if we hadn't got through and were playing Tuesday and errrrr Friday?

John Smith
Woodcote Royal Because, sh+t for brains, some of us really want to support the club and, believe it or not, this has more to do with willingly putting your hand in your pocket than singing about stabbing Swindon fans. So, while being offered a season ticket for £20 might send you and half this board into multi orgasmic delight, those who really have the clubs best interests at heart would be concerned for its long term future.

HTH

If, "shit for brains", you knew anything about the economics of football you would know that ticket sales make up less than 10% of club's income and it has been stated far and wide over recent weeks (notably after the Liverpool £72 debacle) that they could in fact charge £10 a ticket and still be hardly affected as a business.

So you crack on and chuck your money away pal.

While I'd seriously doubt that figure outside the Prem (from where would, say, Oxford United, get 9 times their gate money in additional income :P ) but even if that figure was only 5%, real fans would want to do their bit financially where as you, and at least half the pr*cks on this board think making a noise in the stadium is far more important.

Meanwhile, 2-0 And A Penalty, Mr Solid Harper or whatever umpteenth username he cares to use was thinking of attending regularly for the first time since Elm Park but has now changed his mind, again :P

Beam me up, Scotty, no intelligent life forms to report :|
