I've just been on the phone (took a while to get through) and moved the seats I bought previously so they will do it. Just keep trying.

We sold out against Bradford on a Monday night last year, pretty confident by next Friday it will be sold out or with only single seats remaining.

Really surprised at the number of ST seats unsold. I'm guessing they had to wait until they could get blocks of seats for their +1's so they can be together.

Winchester Royal
John Smith I believe season ticket holders have until 12pm tomorrow to secure their tickets so this could open up a few to the rest

That's what I'm relying on!

Two secured just where I want them.

Seats in the North Stand sorted, relatively easy too. To be honest I had more trouble getting my ticket for Huddersfield on Tuesday......Website was really slow

Will be embarrassing for us on national television if we can't sell this out. It's a decent premier league side and we have a good chance of making the semi for only the 3rd time in our history. Tickets are reasonably priced too.

Id be shocked if this is not sold out

There were virtually no seats at all in the East when I was looking to book yesterday... gave up on getting one for a friend as couldn't get two together and couldn't work out how to select a seat for me which wasn't mine. Didn't have a chance to call TO. So it wouldn't surprise me if lots were waiting to use their +1s to be able to sit together.

It seems so. There are far less available now than earlier on this morning.

There's still 2 more days til it goes to general sale, and over a week til the game itself.

It will sell out or there abouts. A couple of good performances and results between now and then might get a few extra in as well!

Greatwesternline With regards to paying more money for your ticket to help the club out financially.....

I used to have similar feelings towards some of the bands i liked, i thought i should buy the albums of some established bands such as Oasis, or the Strokes, Arctic Monkeys, rather than simply listen on spotify, to reward them for writing the music i loved.

Then i realised this was a completely insane thing to think! These said bands were multi millionaires and would not notice my £10 amongst there spare change down the side of the sofa.

The exact same can be applied to our beloved RFC. Charging £25 vs £15, maximum difference is £240,000 in total revenue, 20% is VAT, so knock off 50k, split with Palace, so now we are down to £96,000...

The club wouldn't notice this at all, but many of RFC's punters will notice a tenner.

Re pricing, RFC's recent pricing with Tuesday night games aside, British football is far too expensive. I could deal with the tedium of the Madstad most Saturdays if I wasn't spending £20+ a game on it on entry alone.

Went to a German game this season in the second flight and paid just £10.05. Better atmosphere and I could drink in the stand. If that was what Reading cost I'd go every week

English football as a product is over valued, especially at Reading where the atmosphere is so hit and miss, so from going regularly a few years ago I CBA anymore. And given low attendances are what have forced the Tuesday night price reductions I'd imagine this isn't a bad strategy.
