leon Good to see the usual whiners out in force as soon as we lose. They'd STFU the last few games.

Why anyone thinks we should be winning every game we play when we've been piss poor for at least 3 seasons bar 6 weeks I don't know.

Winning every game? Winning even 50% would be a good start!

And here we have the cause of the problem. RB's expectations are ludicrous. How many (Reading) managers have ever managed 50% win rates? I suspect the answer is none, given in BMcD's first stint and under Coppell we were in the low to mid 40s iirc.

Let's go further and analyse who has a 50% win rate in the Championship this season.

Boro 57.1%
Hull 55.9%
Burnley 55.5%

That's it, 3 teams who look like the strongest contenders for automatic promotion this season.

Paterson and Wells must love the sight of us, 7 goals between them against Reading in 4 matches this season.

DaddyKuhl The most dissappointing thing for me is I have yet to see a team playing as well as we were for that month and a half earlier this year. It unravelled so quickly and we are a shadow of our former selves. This season was looking so good, but now look at us.

The board should be embarrassed

Rax Oops - we lose against the Udders and the knives for MaccyD are out again....

No doubt they'll be put back in the drawer if we win on Friday!

Keep the faith people!

I think you will find that some of us are not fickle enough to change a view of "MaccyD" as you call him, based purely on a few results. I have stated from day one that it was the wrong decision to bring him back and I stick by that, win or lose. The bloke is and always has been a yes man who was appointed so that he can be easily manipulated by the owners. He has no backbone, no tactical awareness and thinks that a team achieves with love and unity without actually having any direction.

I don't know the guy as well as you appear to, but I just thought it was a lack lustre appointment (prob the cheap option too) and nothing has changed my mind since .. BM has nothing to lose friday so he won't change a thing, it will be business as usual ...

No. We scored early, sat back and frustrated them having completely buggered up their game plan and then hit them on the break later on as they committed more and more forward. They had virtually all of the play. And that was the last time we really played well in the League.
