Watford striker Troy Deeney on why Leicester are so hard to beat

Is interesting. Incredible stat re crosses.

Good article. Watching the game against Southampton, I was amazed at the sheer amount of hard miles Okazaki, Drinkwater and especially Kante put in. They ensure that whenever the opposition have the ball it is in front of them and make it impossible to play through them. Also noticeable the number of times that Leicester players clear crosses, but then they look absolutely devastating on the break. I love watching them.
It all sounds very similar to the philosophy of Brian McDermott in our last championship winning season - Don't worry about the opposition having possession, just make sure they have it in areas of the field where they can't hurt us. In this case the Leicester defence deal with crosses so well that they are not afraid to concede them.

The last few games have been quite nervy affairs but that's to be expected.
TBH after the Rodwell miss Sunderland fell apart and Leicester could have had 5 or 6.

Stumbling? They've now won four in a row and their last ten record is:

W 8. D 1. L1

Isn't it 5 in a row? With no goals conceded (fookin' awesome)

The stumbling is in reference to how tight and nervy the games have got . The previous few have been late 1-0 winners. Even though the attacking flair is being slightly tempered I've enjoyed them, and its a side effect of attempts at shoring up at the back.

Fantastic story, brilliant achievement.

New lease of life to premier league. Top 4 well and truly broken and will be for years now.

All it takes is for a decent West Ham side to turn up and nick 3 points and the gap could be down to 4 with a few games left, Leicester get nervous and Tottenham steal in and win it on the last day

Credit to Spurs for a fine job in keeping the gap to 7 yesterday.
Leicester nearly there. Please, let it happen!
But those fixtures look horrible. Have a feeling West Ham are going to have another of those away days next weekend and the gap will close to 4.

Then Leicester host Swansea and Spurs go to West Brom. It could be 4 points with 3 to play. Then Spurs go to Chelsea whilst Leicester are at United. Could Leicester win the league at Old Trafford?

I'm almost as nervous as I would be were Reading top the league. Mental.

Even though I have been a Tottenham fan for 60 years,I would rather Leicester won the title over Spurs stealing it via goal difference in the final game of the season.

I remember a "pre-season" poll of polls in the Gruniad: A good dozen were questiones as to who they thought would be champions and fill the remaining champions league spots at seasons end. Spurs got one single nomination to nick a fourth spot:Leicester,of course, nary a mention. What a wonderful season it promises to be.

I think a champion's league spot would compensate.

I have no idea who Reading are playing from now until the end of the season, but I know all of Leicester's fixtures... :?

Pretty sure they're going to blow it, starting with defeat against West Ham. Spurs will be worthy champions, they're really brilliant. Gutting for the neutral though.

Oh right. A Champions league spot is better than winning the league and getting a Champions League spot.
