One fan who contacted BBC Sport said he had missed out on a ticket, despite having a membership package and having been to all but three home games this season.

"This season is something we never expected and will probably never happen again in our lifetimes," said the supporter, who wished to remain anonymous.

"Now I won't be there to potentially celebrate us winning the Premier League.

So he doesn't have a season ticket then.

Ok then, so Gameweek 34; West Ham are a very good side and I think they could cause problems for the Foxes. Stoke are dogshit and Spurs will beat them. Possibly leaving 4 to go with a 4 point cushion.

Will it be enough? Does the wobble start next Monday night?

Thinking back a couple of years ago it seemed a lot closer when Liverpool were on the march so I just wonder if complacency might kick in or if 7 points is enough. Spurs appear to be fighting all the way. God knows what's going through the Leicester minds.

I'm sure he'd have mentioned it if he did

5 games left, 7 point cushion, 3 more wins.

They'll win it at Old Trafford.

I trust Spurs to spaff it more than Leicester. I also think Leicester will win their home games, which should be enough anyway.

Even a draw isn't really enough for Spurs now.

Anyone else think Spurs are at a disadvantage always having to play after Leicester? They handled it well on Sunday to be fair, but I believe it's that way until the last day of the season now. I just feel Leicester never have to go out and perform knowing Spurs have already done their job.

Nit really because if Leicester keep winning then it doesn't matter when Tottenham play but if they happen to drop points it will be a boost for Spurs

Depends how you look at it I guess. Seems fairer all round to play at the same time and not know what the other's result is. But I understand TV dict8s otherwise

Surely the QPR precedent dictates that bugger all can be done until they get relegated back to the Football League.

Agreed. I'm sure we'll see a few kids in Leicester shirts soon and then claim in later years they were born and bred Foxes fans - just like all those Liverpool 'fans' I went to school with. Of course they never supported Liverpool because they were the most successful team of that period.

Twenty-five, according to William Hill, ranging from a woman in Edinburgh who put on five pence and might get £250 for her troubles to the two largest stakes, £20, placed in Warwick and Manchester.

The gamblers include a Brighton supporter, Nathaniel Whessell, who placed his 60p bet “for a laugh” and plans to spend the summer in Ibiza if he rakes in £3,000 winnings. In total the 25 bets amounted to £68.55.

Drinks on Nathaniel.
