Feeling very deflated. When your luck's out this kind of shit happens. Stonewall penalty, given, and then taken away. oxf*rd ridiculous. Ricochet in the first half that was nearly an own goal but fell the wrong side. A good strike for Hull's winner.

I thought we were okay tonight. Boos and chants of "we're fcuking shit" a disgrace.

Sigh.

I sit in the Northeast corner and I initially thought it was 50/50. Didn't stop me from joining in the fun and games though.

The luck's out. We were the better team overall AGAIN.

Interesting comments from Brian about the summer. Hopefully he's not making a rod for his back there, but it clearly sounds like he's planning some big changes and is aware how pivotal it is.

Thinly veiled comments about none of the loan players coming back.

Good performance. We should have won. Feel sorry for some of the players. Vydra gave 100% tonight. Too much hoofing in second half - Vydra/Rakels never going to win the ball against their massive CBs.

Booing at FT was strange. Hull are 4th and we outplayed them.

Attendances are dropping which is concerning - it was a factor in Clarke's sacking.

Another game where we played well but fail to do basic things right which cost us the game.

If Brian had hair he'd be tearing it out. He's set us up correctly again and got us playing some nice stuff but the players are messing up things that they shouldn't need coaching on.

Decent enough performance, our substitutions did little to enhance our chances.

Seen plenty worse

Of the senior players I would keep McShane, Quinn, McCleary Robson- Kanu and at a push Norwood. Shame Hector will be off but apart from that, the rest can do one.
The other loan players are a disgrace.

This season has been a shambles and cannot end quick enough!

God only knows why I am bothering with QPHa on Saturday.

I suspect that the poor attendance was due to the fact that the season has been over for weeks and there's nothing to play for. Just another turgid season.

Thought the booing was directed at the ref.tbf

Anyway...

Ugh.
Same old same old.
Played well. Should have won, we were the better team, made them look very average. But we wilt at the first sign of adversity.

Understandable really. When they see another mistake followed by another goal, their heads just go.

Thought Rakels looked good and should play next game.
Hector immense again.
Quinn worked hard but gave the ball away too often
Norwood a bit anonymous.

Cox worked hard and linked up well at times

Ola John a disgrace. Thats 3/4 identical sub appearances in a row. Really poor.

Formation/tactics decent.

We move on. I just wish we could move on a bit quicker and finish this terrible season asap

Not overly surprising considering there is literally nothing to play for.

On top of that - I don't think it had any part in Clarkes sacking whatsoever. If it did then that is oxf*rd mental.

I thought Ola John was the second coming just a couple weeks back on here?

Same old I'm afraid, invite average sides to attack you, defend poorly and you will inevitably concede goals, can't keep blaming the ref or bad luck, we are too predictable & too sloppy defensively have been for months ...

Thought we were pretty decent tonight, but seriously lacking the oomph to finish things. Exemplified by Cox delaying and delaying his shot in the first half before eventually having his chance blocked. Unsurprisingly our heads dropped after the parting of the Red Sea that gave them the lead, I hate going out with a whimper.

Rackles looked pretty decent tonight, certainly one Kermogant came on
Norwood utterly pointless on the right of a diamond
Hector a bit too relaxed, Quinn have 100% as ever.

Aside from a desperate need for a decent striker and 2 wingers next season, we are in even more need of centre backs. On tonight's performance Ferdinand's legs are absolutely shot, which leaves us with 2.

Lack of pace is a big problem. I've said numerous times we lack urgency and tempo. It has to be addressed in the summer. McCleary seems to have lost more than a yard since his injury (Robertson left him for dead for their second) and aside from Vydra I can't think of much pace at all in the side and it's making us predictable as games reach the latter stages and the other side has figured us out.

I yearn for the days of two quick wingers and overlapping full backs.

Encouraged by the first half but AGAIN we are trying to walk it into the net at times. Players who can't use their weak foot and are wanting an extra touch.

Sorry but these players are paid thousands! Stop dithering, grow some balls and gamble on the edge of the box or with the first time shots!

Thought all in all Cox did very well in the first half playing the 10 and there were some nice triangles but my god apart from that no one wants to run off the ball and give an option when we are in possession it's so slow!

Bryan will get it right in summer, let's hope the owners back him

Bring Alfie and Jem back and let's get some character and The Reading spirit back amongst the team and the fans
